Wool Ruana

The sheep raised on our Ohio farm provide the fine wool for this ultra light and warm Ruana.  The colored fleeces are sorted to create three shades of brown for the warp, which is crossed with dark gray to emphasize the twill borders.

We make the hay, shear the sheep, scour, sort, and pick the fleeces, card and spin to make the yarn, warp the loom, weave the cloth, wash it, and sew it into the garment.  This Ruana truly came from the ground up.

Made of 100% organically raised wool.
